The last week or two has been a bit of a mixed bag. My health has been all over the place, we’ve had some small yet meaningful victories in the theater, I’ve been learning a bit of perl to make my own tools, and there’s been a lot of family crisis.

Since moving to a new $EDITOR, I’ve been practicing writing and editing using semantic line breaks. I’m finding that the practice is helpful for converting a random note in my scratchpad into a half-baked idea.

Outside of projects relating to the building, most of my attention has been on getting comfortable in a ‘new’ editor, tidying up the (terribly written shell) scripts used to generate this site, and trying to rally from an unexpected flare up of long covid symptoms which have led my butt and this couch to becoming excellent friends.

I am testing a new RSS feed, which I’m currently generating by hand like some sort of animal.

I’ll be automating this later, and apologizing as I inevitably break things.
