One of the recent tasks at #ThisOldClownHouse has been updating all of our legal paperwork, including somewhat grim items like my “last will and testament”.
As a relative pauper, the notion of discussing the disposition of my “residual estate” struck me as a bit silly. Still, I dutifully pulled the documents from the archives to check them against the revisions. The older format had a section for final words to convey to my friends and family. Performing life has taught me one valuable lesson: There is no such thing as a soloist. Anything I accomplished was because I had help, and I will always be grateful to those helpers who allowed me the change to play, learn, and heal. As I now seem to be in less immediate need of support, I urge you to now help others who need it.
I thought I might share them early, and then keep on talking.
